Since 2018, Quentin joined IOTA Kenya. On a daily basis, he develops new markets, and works to the satisfaction of our customers, consultants, partners in Kenya. Discover his interview:
How long have you been working at IOTA Group?
After more than ten years working in the Oil & Gas sector in Gabon, as a Logistics Manager in a drilling company and two years in Kenya as a consultant in operational management and logistics, I joined IOTA Group in 2018.
With 12 years of experience in Africa, I bring to the group my knowledge in multiple fields.
As a Business Development Consultant, what is your role?
As a Business Development Consultant, my role is to develop our client portfolio in the East African region.
Based in Nairobi, I mainly cover Kenya. I also bring my expertise to the group in the establishment of our subsidiaries in the East African area.
What are your goals for IOTA Group in Kenya?
Accompanying our clients around the world, we come today to support their activities, especially for oil projects in the region.
In Kenya, a pipeline project from the Turkana fields to Lamu port is of great interest to our clients and therefore to us.
Taking advantage of a synergy around the Oil & Gas sector, I would like tomorrow to see IOTA Kenya present in very promising sectors in the country, like Telecoms, Aeronautics, Geothermics and Civil Engineering.
Today what is your recruitment strategy?
The Group’s policy is to offer the best profiles to our clients. With this in mind, we strive to be able to provide local candidates (Kenyans).
Since the acquisition of TECHMA Support Training Company by IOTA Group, we are now working to train our candidates when the profile requested by our customers is not available on the market.
